Column in FD: The New Corporate Governance Code is too much of a compromise

The renewed code for good corporate governance speaks of 'best practices'. That is misleading, according to Marilieke Engbers and Pim Bouwman, because science sets much higher requirements for a best practice. A better formulation would be: 'This is how far the business community wants to go'.
